It clashed at the box office with ' Tulsi Kumari' but clearly has beaten the film by a huge margin. 'Kantara' is expected to now slow down after Monday onwards and it already looks like the film will drop today, on day 12.

Saturday, it saw a good jump, making a total of Rs 39.00 crore. On second Sunday, it grew further and made Rs 40 crore. On Monday, it has begun on a slow note. The film has made Rs 13.50 crore as per early estimates on day 12. With that, 'Kantara' has crossed Rs 430 crore. The total collection now stands at Rs 451.90 crore according to Sacnilk.
The film clashed at the box office with 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' which is now inching towards Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office.
