The dubbed version of the superhero film ‘Justice League’ performed moderately well at the box-office in India. The film earned around Rs 1.60 crore on its second Friday (Day 8) and Rs 2.35 crore on its second Saturday (Day 9) by taking its total to around Rs 29 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com. It had collected around Rs 25.08 crore in its first week.
‘Justice League’ is based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name and features all the popular superheroes including the Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman.
The story of the film revolves around the superhero team formed by the superheroes after the death of Superman to save the planet from the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
According to the reports, ‘Justice League’ is one of the costliest films made at an approximate budget of around 300 million USD.
The film is a super union of stars with Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / Flash and Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman. ‘Justice League’ is the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) series.
