'Jigra' Box Office Day 2: Alia Bhatt's mints Rs. 6.50 crore, sees 42 % growth over Dussehra weekend

Alia Bhatt's latest movie, Jigra, recorded an improvement in its box office collection on the second day. The film, which opened with ₹4.55 crore on its first day, showed a 42% increase on Saturday, bringing in ₹6.50 crore. This has taken its two-day total domestic earnings to over ₹11 crore, as reported bySacnilk.

Jigra’s positive trend can be attributed to the Dussehra festival, which helped boost ticket sales. The film's producers are hopeful that this momentum will carry through the weekend and sustain the film's earnings.

However, the Telugu dubbed version of Jigra has not performed well, earning just ₹5 lakh on the first day. Many shows in regions like Nizamabad and Warangal had 0% occupancy, leading to the cancellation of several shows on the second day.
