‘Hindi Medium’ box-office collection: Irrfan Khan's film crosses 50-crore mark

'Hindi Medium', starring Irrfan Khan and Sama Qamar may have had a slow start at the box-office, but the film picked up the pace in the following weeks. Now, as the third week came to a close, the Saket Chaudhary directorial has crossed the 50-crore mark. 'Hindi Medium' minted as much as Rs 11.75 crore in its third week which is also recorded as the second best week-three collection of 2017 after 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion'.The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 53.37 crore, according to a report on BoxofficeIndia.com.
The film that sheds light on the disparity between English medium and Hindi Medium schools, has an important social message that seems to have struck a chord with the masses.
