'Hichki' box-office collection Day 3: Rani Mukerji's film collects Rs 6.50 crore

After a decent opening collection on Friday, the film showed growth on Saturday as it garnered Rs 5.25 crore.

Critics are all praise for Rani who nailed her act as Naina Mathur in 'Hichki'. The actress plays the role of an aspiring teacher who suffers from a neurological disorder, Tourette Syndrome and in spite of her shortcomings she rises up and fights back her detractors.
The plot of the film revolves around Naina Mathur, who is an aspiring teacher who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. After several interviews and numerous rejections, she lands her dream job as a full-time teacher in an elite school. The class she has been assigned though comprises of defiant and impish students who can’t seem to keep out of trouble. Naina overcomes all challenges to help her students realise their true potential.
