‘Gold’ box-office collection Day 8: Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy starrer grosses Rs 6 crore

Making the most out of the holiday of Bakri Eid, ‘Gold’ saw growth in its collection on Wednesday as it grossed Rs 6 crore, which brings the total collection of the film to Rs 84.85 crore, reported BoxOfficeIndia.com.
Reema Kagti's sports drama revolves around an eccentric Bengali man, Tapan Das, played by Akshay Kumar, who dreams of bagging a gold medal in hockey. His nagging wife, Monobina, is played by Mouni Roy.As the Olympic games of 1948 are announced, Das sets out to form a rag-tag hockey team of novice players to compete for the gold medal.
Along with Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy, ‘Gold’ also stars Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh and Sunny Kaushal.
