Manjrekar and stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in significant roles, managed to make a decent collection on its first Monday.

The film which is a remake of the 2002 Oscar-nominated Belgian film 'Everybody's Famous' has raked in another Rs 75 lacs at the box office on its fourth day which has taken the total collection Rs 7.50 crore, as reported by a recent BoxofficeIndia.com.

'Fanney Khan' is a heart-warming story of a father who stops at nothing to make his daughter’s dreams of becoming a singing sensation come true. With a relatable plot that magnifies the hopes and dreams for small-town people, the film has been termed as a star-studded musical that hits the high notes.

Impressed by his co-star Rajkummar's dedication Anil opened up about him saying he learnt a lot from him while working on 'Fanney Khan'. He added that he has watched Rajkummar's films 'Newton' and 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' twice and that he is a natural when it comes to his craft. Anil feels that he is great at what he does but is still humble about it and is willing to work and learn.
