'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' box office collection Day 4: The Sonam Kapoor starrer collects Rs 1.50 crore on Monday
Shelly Chopra Dhar directorial 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' starring Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles has been disappointing with its collection at the box office. The drop on Monday is far too much for a film that did not open well and the occupancy is too low for it to stand any chance. The film saw the worst opening and the first weekend collections also remained poor. The film revolves around the topic of same-sex relationship.

The collection on Monday has sealed the fate of the film for further days.
According to the latest report by BoxofficeIndia.com, on Monday, the film has raked in a total of Rs 1.50 crore on its fourth day at the box office. The film has till now managed to collect a total of Rs 13 crore at the box office in four days.
The first-week collection will probably go up to Rs 17 crore. This means the first-week business will be lower than films like 'The Accidental Prime Minister' and 'Thackeray'. Despite being a family film, the movie has faced rejection due to the subject on which the film is based. The film is one of the few mainstream Indian films to focus on the subject of same-sex relationship or homosexuality.

Directed and co-written by Shelly Chopra Dhar, 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and also stars Akshay Oberoi and Regina Cassandra. The title of the film is derived from the popular romantic number of Anil Kapoor's 1994 film '1942: A Love Story'.
