'Doctor G', the campus comedy-drama starring
Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh, was off to a slow start on its first Monday.
The film which earned an estimated Rs 15.03 crore nett over its first weekend at the box office, saw a 60% drop in collections, stated a report on boxofficeindia.com. The film earned an estimated Rs 1.50 crore nett, thus taking its four-day figures to around Rs 16.53 crore nett.
'Doctor G' which marks the directorial debut of
Anubhuti Kashyap, opened to great reviews, earned an estimated Rs 3.87 crore on Friday and followed it up with a collection of Rs 5.22 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.94 crore on Sunday.
While the film will enjoy an undisputed run at the box office this week. It remains to be seen how much the film will collect by the end of its first week. The film still has a long way to go before it bows out of theatres for its digital release.
