Do aur Do Pyaar Box Office Collection day 3: Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi starrer earns only Rs 2.50 crore in its opening weekend

After a string of digital releases like Neeyat, Sherni and Jalsa, Vidya Balan is back on the big screen with her latest release Do Aur Do Pyaar. In this entertainer, she is accompanied by Pratik Gandhi, who recently delivered a hit in the form of Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut Madgaon Express.

Do Aur Do Pyaar took a slow start at the box office, but as the weekend progressed, the film caught up a bit, On Friday, the film opened to Rs 50 lakh, with evening shows picking up most viewers. On Saturday the film saw a massive 72 percent jump to collect Rs 95 lakh and on Sunday it earned Rs 1.1 crore, taking the overall collection to Rs 2.5 crore, reports Sacnilk.At the box office, Do Aur Do Pyaar releases alongside Dibakar Banerjee helmed LSD 2: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2. Do Aur Do Pyaar revolves around the story of Kavya (Vidya) and Ani (Pratik) who are on the verge of separation and get involved in extramarital affairs but life throws a curveball at them, thus changing the trajectory of their relationship.The duo start falling back in love with each other. The film is an official Hindi remake of American film The Lovers which starred Debra Winger and Tracy Letts in lead roles.

Do Aur Do Pyaar is directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta and also stars Ileana D'cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy.
