According to the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, 'Commando 3' is up to a slow start of around 10 per cent but is comparatively low as compared to Sidharth Malhotra's 'Marjaavaan' which too was a similar kind of a film but with a better cast, songs and storyline.

While the first instalment of the 'Commando' franchise collected Rs 3.43 crores and the second one raking in Rs 4.51 crore, 'Commando 3' collections is expected to surpass the 2013's instalments collection but would fail to go past 'Commando 2' collections.

While the high octane action franchise doing well on the television, trade experts are wondering why did the makers opt for the third instalment of 'Commando' despite its earlier films failing to impress the audience.
