Commando 2: The Black Money Trail
’ has collected around Rs 1.90 crore on its first Tuesday, taking the total collections to Rs 17.40 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com. Its weekend collections stood at Rs 13.25 crore and on Monday, the film raked in Rs 2.25 crore.
‘Commando 2’ marks the directorial debut of
Deven Bhojani in Bollywood. The comic actor known for his portrayal of Gattu on the TV show ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’ has already directed successful shows like ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ and ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’.
The film is an action drama, replete with high octane and jaw dropping sequences featuring Vidyut Jamwal who returns to Bollywood after a gap of three years. It is a sequel of the 2013 film ‘Commando: A One Man Army’. Featuring
Adah Sharma, Esha Gupta, Satish Kaushik, Shefali Shah, Suhail Nayyar and
Adil Hussain the film promises an overdose of action and some gravity-defying stunts. Release of the film coincided with Hugh Jackman’s ‘Logan’ at the Indian box-office.
