'Chand Mera Dil' box office collection Day 5: Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer crosses Rs 20 crore globally

'Chand Mera Dil', directed by Vivek Soni and headlined by Lakshya and Ananya Panday, the film is nearing the end of its first week with good collections despite mixed reviews, limited pre-release buzz and strong competition at the ticket window.The film that was praised for its grounded portrayal of love and for steering clear of a toxic dynamic between the lead characters, completed its first weekend with a collection of Rs 11 crore. Now, according to a report on Sacnilk, the film saw a drop of 6.7% on Tuesday, Day 5 from its Monday's earnings. The Karan Johar-backed project minted Rs 2.10 crore across 4,119 shows on Day 5. With that, the total India gross collection is now Rs 18.16 crore, while the total India net collection stands at Rs 15.35 crore. Overseas, the Ananya starrer collected Rs 40 lakh on Day 5, taking its total overseas gross total to an estimated Rs 2.65 crore thus far.
