Film: Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi
Position: 5
Director: Kaushik Ghatak
Cast: Eisha Koppikhar, Sonu Sood
Upside: Caters to the family audience who indulge in tearjerkers.
Downside: Standard Barjatya marriage video-cassette template, too many songs, melodramatic performances. Outdated setup, music and treatment.
Running Week: 1
Trade Comments: Barjatyas released the film only on 5 screens across Mumbai city. In an age when even average movies are released with several prints so that it could break even or recover costs in the opening weekend, this restricted release by Barjatyas is detrimental for the film. Moreover with the film not garnering extremely positive response like Rajshris Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, even releasing it on more screens in coming weeks wont help enhance the collections much.
