Kartik's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has had an impressive first week, netting Rs 158.25 crore (Rs 189.75 crore gross) in India. Though it faced tough competition from Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which had a wider screen count, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 held strong, keeping up its momentum after a fantastic Diwali weekend debut.

Though Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 trails Singham Again slightly in India, it’s holding its own internationally. In its first week, the Anees Bazmee-directed film raked in Rs 52 crore overseas, bringing its global total to a hefty Rs 241 crore, proving it’s a solid competitor on the worldwide stage.

On Thursday, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 secured its place among the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films of the year, landing at number nine with Rs 241 crore, just behind Singham Again (Rs 260 crore) and surpassing Vettaiyan, which earned Rs 235 crore. Considering Vettaiyan boasted a powerhouse cast with Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 achieving this is a remarkable accomplishment.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the third installment in the popular franchise, brings Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan together again, joined by Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit. With strong early numbers, the film is anticipated to see a boost in earnings over the upcoming weekend.
