Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has become biggest hit of Kartik Aaryan’s career

Kartik Aaryan quietly entered the industry with Luv Ranjan’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama, but it wasn’t until his film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Love Sweety which catapulted him into the big league. Since then, he has delivered hits like Pati Patni Aur Woh , Luka Chuppi and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In between, he even tried different genres with films like Shehzada, Chandu Champion and Satya Prem Ki Katha, but the response to those weren’t exactly very exciting, thus he returned to his favorite comedy genre.


And his latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which clashed with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, has gone on to become the biggest hit of his career. The film has clocked in Rs 199.50 crore in just 10 days. In its first week, the film earned Rs 158.25 crore, and over its second weekend, it added another 41.25 crore, taking a major lead to Singham Again which earned only Rs 33.50 crore.

Before BB-3, Kartik’s biggest hit was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which as per Sacnilk, had collected Rs 184.32 crore. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Kartik shared that he now wants to concentrate on only one thing and also stated that he’s in a phase where he wants to wait, see, analyze and then decide what to do next. As per now, he only has one film signed, which is Anurag Bau’s next, which as per reports has been delayed, as Anurag’s Metro… In Dino’s release has been pushed ahead as the maker is not happy with what he’s shot.
