'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' box-office collection Day 5: Shahid Kapoor's film earns in Rs 2.75 crore

Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's recently released film 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' which is helmed by Shree Narayan Singh has been doing a good business at the box-office as it has received a good response from the audience even after getting mixed reviews from the critics.
According to a recent BoxOfficeIndia.com report, the film has earned another Rs 2.75 crore on its first Tuesday which has helped the film reach a total of Rs 27.25 crore in just five days.The drop isn't that bad and if experts are to be believed then the film might reach a total of nearly Rs 32 crore by the end of this week.
Shree Narayan Singh social issue based drama which released alongside Nandita Das' critically acclaimed film 'Manto', has been doing a better business as compared to the latter.
