Alia Bhatt and
Varun Dhawan starrer, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' has completed its second week at the box-office. The film collected approximately Rs. 1.25 crore on its third Friday, taking the total collection to Rs.99.25 crore at the end of the week.
The film saw a dip on its third friday due to the release of
Anushka Sharma's '
Phillauri'. However, '
Badrinath Ki Dulhania' opened well on 10th March with an estimated collection of Rs.
11.65 and went on to record an estimated collection of Rs. 98.02 crore at the end of its second week of its release in India.
The Shashank Khaitan-directed film is set in north India and deals with the evils of a regressive society, and touches upon the subjects of dowry and patriarchy.
