Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' has aced the number game to become the highest grossing Hindi film in India and around the world. The film's Hindi dubbed version that grossed an estimated Rs 750 crore at the worldwide box-office, became the first Hindi film to achieve this feat, according to BoxofficeIndia.com.
With the impressive figures, the Hindi dubbed version of 'Baahubali 2' has thus dethroned
Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' which previously held the top spot with a collection of Rs 702 crore. Aamir's 'PK' has moved to the number three spot with an estimated collection of Rs 616 crore, followed by
Salman Khan's '
Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Sultan' claiming the fourth and fifth spots with collections of Rs 603 crore and Rs 581 crore respectively.
On a domestic front, the first-week collection of 'Baahubali 2' (Hindi) was Rs 246.47 crore, followed by Rs 142.52 crore in its second week and Rs 67.25 crore in its third week. The fourth week has also kickstarted with crackling box office numbers.
Thanks to its unconventional storyline, cinematography, great visual effects and large fan base, the film has entered the 1500-crore club (cumulative figures of all languages) and is marching towards the 2000-crore club at the worldwide box-office.
