When many films disappear from the cinema halls within a few days of their theatrical release, S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus is heading towards a 100-day run at the box-office. The film that zoomed past the Rs 1000 crore benchmark across all languages is inching toward another record.

As the Hindi version of the film continues to play in many urban cities, it does so in not just a handful of theatres, but in at least 10 cinema halls according to a report on Boxofficeindia.com.

The report further mentions that the twelfth week of the film saw it being played in around 25 screens across India.
According to Boxofficeindia.com, ‘Baahubali 2’ is expected to earn Rs 8 lacs by the end of the twelfth week of its theatrical run in the Hindi belt. It amassed Rs 37 lacs and Rs 14.5 lacs in the tenth and eleventh week respectively. The grand total collection of the Hindi version of the fantasy film stands at Rs 510.20 crore.

Interestingly, to celebrate 70 years of bilateral relations between India and Russia, the 39th Moscow International Film Festival, for the first time, will feature a section dedicated to Indian cinema. 'Indian Panorama' at the international film festival will showcase some of the path breaking films from the Indian film industry including the 'Baahubali' series, 'Badman', 'A Death in the Gunj', 'BeyYaar', 'U Turn' and 'Kothanodi'.
S.S. Rajamouli, director of the 'Baahubali' series, will be present at the festival in Moscow to represent the Indian film fraternity amongst a galaxy of film stars from Russia and across the world.
