Ajay Devgn is heading strongly with his latest release Singham Again not only in India, but also in North America, which is the biggest market for Hindi Cinema outside of India. Overseas hasn’t usually been a strong point for Ajay Devgn’s films, but the latest installment of the Cop Universe has made inroads for the superstar.

At the end of six days, the film has already managed to cross the US $ 3 million mark collecting US $ 3,044,573( Rs 25.68 crore) . Out of the total collection, the film had grossed over US $ 2.5 million in the opening weekend itself, and is expected to end its first week on a high note. In India as well, the film has been performing strongly where its week 1 total ended at Rs 173 crore as per box office tracker Sacnilk.But it has turned out to be the highest grossing week 1 collection for Ajay and director Rohit Shetty.
The business of the film could have been impacted by multiple films releasing at the same time like Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and Sivakartikeyan’s Amaran. While Kartik’s film is inching towards the US $ 3 million mark, Siva’s film has crossed the US $ 1 million mark.
Singham Again is directed by Rohit Shetty and also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan, in a cameo.
