Rajinikanth and
Akshay Kumar's film '
2.0' which released on November 29, received a colossal response from the audience as well as the critics. The sequel to 2010 hit film '
Enthiran
' has Rajinikanth reprising the characters of Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti in this film.

S. Shankar's sci-fi film has managed to mint in another Rs 7.75 crore on its 8th day at the ticket counter which has helped the film reach a stupendous total of Rs 137.50 crore.
The film has even entered the highest grossing film in its first week at the box-office at the fourth position right behind 'Sanju', '
Padmaavat' and 'Race 3'. The film which also features Amy Jackson has the music produced by the legendary Oscar winner AR Rahman.
