“I have been juggling multiple languages, including Punjabi, Telugu and Rajasthani. Since the languages are different from each other, it’s hard to learn them simultaneously, but I am enjoying the challenging process,” Freddy says.

“I have many friends from Rajasthan who often converse in their local languages. Since I was learning so many regional languages for the films that I have in hand, I thought that why not explore Marwari dialect too. I look at it as an advance preparation for any future projects that might need the character to know Rajasthani – and Marwari is one of the dialects widely spoken in the state,” says Freddy.
His training sessions are not limited to the hours when he learns from his trainers. “I like to learn from immersive experiences, so when I am on the sets, everyone speaks with me in the local language.”
