Hide Me premieres at American Film Market, surges as one of the market’s breakout horror titles

Psychological horror feature Hide Me made its official world premiere at the American Film Market 2025, emerging as one of this year’s most watched and widely discussed new films. The project returns to AFM after its trailer created significant buzz during the 2024 market and is now completed and open for distribution across all international territories.
Written and directed by Paul Rupesh, Hide Me showcases a strikingly global cast, featuring performers from the US, UK, Europe, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, and Brazil.
The project has already drawn a mix of traditional horror buyers—those seeking tightly crafted, performance-driven thrillers—as well as distributors known for handling films with Christian and Catholic imagery, who have responded to the film’s spiritual undertones and iconographic elements.

Executive producer Akassh Kumarr Arya said the film’s reception at AFM underscores its international potential.
“Hide Me was always designed as a global experience,” Arya said. “It sits at the intersection of fear and faith, and it’s exciting to see buyers from such different regions connect to that.”
