Daud Pakad would be staged at Ouroboros Art Hub Blackbox
Theatre
near Shivranjani in Ahmedabad on March 10 from 6-7 pm.
The
drama
is a fun take on Amdavadis living in
pols and how they unite to achieve a common objective that will leave you in splits. Prem Gadhavi shares his excitement, “I am doing four different roles in this play and the response of the audience has been amazing irrespective of the time slots we have performed it in.”
Giving details, he said, “We are experimenting with the timings and we have staged this play even at 12 noon, 2 and 4 pm. This Holi, we would be staging it at 11:59 pm on March 20. So the audience will finish watching the play on March 21.”
Talking to us, Saumya said, “Ahmedabad is the best theatre audience in India. When we have such incredible audience, it’s our responsibility to come up with good content all the time. The vibe of intimate spaces like Ouroboros is such that it allows us to explore various genres.”
