Actor Tushar Sadhu has made a debut in the Gujarati film Deshbook which was released recently across theaters in Gujarat. The actor, after doing Gujarati stage for over 5 years is now keen on pursuing a fruitful movie career in Gujarati film industry. Vipul Sharma is receiving rave reviews by Gujarati movie critics.
Says Tushar, who has worked with renowned names in Gujarati theater like Saumya Joshi and Raju Barot, “I had assisted Vipulji before I got to play the lead in Deshbook. I was particular about one thing when I did a Gujarati movie is that I would say no to ghaghra choli kind of Gujarati films.”
At the same time, Tushar wants to simultaneously do Gujarati theater alongside Gujarati movies. “I am more focused now. I have done Gujarati drama with people like Raju Barot and Saumya Joshi and it’s been five years doing Gujarati theater. I did Zaverchand Meghani plays, plays like Haan Tane Chahi Che Zindagi and Kanchan Karshe Gam Ne Kanchan. Doing theater requires constant time commitment and whenever I am sure I cam devote that much time to theatre, I would definitely like to take the project up.”
