To Mujhe Aurat Mat Kehna earns applause from Barodians!

‘To Mujhe Aurat Mat Kehna’, a street play directed by Jay Merchant featuring some youngsters from the city, has earned accolades from Barodians. Seven girl actors from Navrachana University had performed in the play during Paramarsh, the annual fest organized by the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, M S University. The play, written and directed by Jay, was an experimental, thought-provoking 15 minute play dealing with some pressing issues faced by women, such as gang rape, dowry and so on. Pooja Thakkar, Pankti Shah, Meshwa Nirmal, Urvvi Sharma, Rajvee Shah, Janet D’santos and Shweta Upadhyay, the actors, seemed completely at ease during the performance and drew loud cheers.
