There have been various initiatives by various theatre artists to break the divide between the performers on stage and the audience. And The Clown’s Cry For The Moon is one such effort that brings the performers and the audience together as the audience also becomes a part of the narrative by taking part in the storytelling. This experimental play by actor-director VK Sharma, is a story of a single child named Gudiya, who, due to lack of friends, starts having a conversation with different characters that are purely an imagination of her own mind.
Being staged as part of the ongoing Theatre Olympics, The Clown’s Cry For The Moon will be performed at Tagore Hall
tonight at 9 pm by Khilona, a Delhi based group.
