Samudra Manthan to set sailing in the city

Samudra Manthan - a sailing fairytale will take place on Sunday June 2 in the city. The play revolves around a sailor woman’s fight against patriarchal mindset of community that wouldn’t allow women to be sailors. The love story is inspired by a real life sailor couple from Kutch. The play written by Aditi Desai will take place at Gujarat University Convention & Exhibition Centre, Near Helmet Circle, Opp Mayflower Hospital from 9 pm onwards.
The play which has been staged in the city several times before stars Abhinay Banker, Aditi Desai, Gaurang Anand, Vainat Desai among many others.
