'Nothing Like Lear' to start on time!
In recent times, quite a few theatre lovers in Vadodara have been heard complaining that the plays that they went to watch started after long delays. However, trust Stagomaniacs, a theatre company that aspires to develop a good theatre culture in Vadodara, to try and change things for the better. Rahil Shah, member of Team Stagomaniacs which is bringing the acclaimed English play ‘Nothing Like Lear’ to Vadodara, says that it will start on time and those turning up late may well rue it! Says Rahil, “The play, starring Vinay Pathak and directed by Rajat Kapoor, will be staged at the C C Mehta auditorium on August 20 and it will start sharp at 8.55 pm, without even a minute’s delay. At 8.55 pm, Vinay Pathak will be on stage and before that, Rajat Kapoor will be interacting with the audience members who turn up on time. So, that should be a great incentive for them.”
