Theatre Olympics – Ahmedabad Chapter has already brought some popular plays for the theatre enthusiasts of the city. And today, it is going to be Enai Lok Kato Dekha Nai, an Assamese adaption of The Miser by popular French playwrite Moliere. The play has been directed by Jyoti Narayan Nath, a graduate from National School of Drama and will be performed by Anubhav from Guwahati.
The play is about a miser who will go to any extent to save money. From getting into spats with neighbours and servants, hiding money underground, getting his daughter married to an old wealthy man to even marrying a young girl of a rich man his own son is in love with.
As part of the ongoing Theatre Olympics in Ahmedabad, Enai Lok Kato Dekha Nai is a satire on people who think of nothing but money. So, book your tickets for the show at Tagore Hall, 9 pm today.
