The movie is shot entirely in the magnificent terrain of the Rann of Kutch, known for its majestic beauty. According to director Hussain, the Little Rann has been captured in a very romantic mode like never before. The Rann of Kutch has attracted a lot of filmmakers from Bollywood and also Telugu cinema. Other renowned Gujarati films which were shot in the Kutch are Harun Arun and The Good Road, which went to win accolade internationally. Rasiya… is said to be the first commercial Gujarati cinema which is shot in Kutch.

Both Vikram Thakor and Mamta Soni are known to be quote versatile. Both are good actors and both are known for their creative pursuits other than acting. Two great singers Vikram and Mamta also have sung many garba songs together. Mamta is a poet too. The actress writes and recites Gujarati shayri.
