When it comes to celebrations Gujaratis’ have always outdone themselves. Living life to the fullest, relishing the finest cuisines, traveling the world, and celebrating every small win resonates with the soul and spirit of Gujarat. Although the rapid spread of COVID-19 has certainly threw many lives out of gear, the undying spirit of the community is helping many to slowly rise and rebuild lives again.
While over the years we have witnessed gala celebrations today, on Gujarat Day, this year the festivities are going to be different. Artists from several mediums will be going virtual with their gigs, concerts, skits, and plays. Apart from this, I will also be releasing a song on Gujarat day, titled ‘Gujarati Hu Chhu.’ The song is written and composed by me and has collaborated with three Ahmedabad-based musicians Ronak Pandit, Divyang Arora, and Mayank Kapadia. I will also be interacting with fans through my personal social media handles on May 1.”
