The ongoing shopping festival in Ahmedabad has provided much to rejoice for Amdavadis. And Monday night was no exception when Gujarati composer duo
Sachin-Jigar
took to the stage at the Sabarmati Riverfront. The composers who have revived the Gujarati film music with their contribution by giving chartbusters like
Satrangi Re
and
Vhalam
were at their best as they belted out some of their most popular songs.
But the highlight of the show was when they started singing their Gujarati numbers. The audience joined them singing in chorus creating an amazing atmosphere. On stage,
Sachin Sanghvi shared that the duo used to discuss with each other about contributing to Gujarati cinema and now that their dream has come true, they feel proud of it. Sachin said, "We have worked really hard on creating good music for Gujarati films and now when we get such amazing response to our Gujarati film songs, it feels that our hard work is paying off."
