I am happy with Supreme Court’s verdict in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case: Devang Patel

The Supreme Court’s verdict to hand over Sushant Singh Rajput’s case to CBI brought a lot of cheer to SSR’s fans who had been demanding a CBI inquiry. Even Gujarati celebs feel that the case needs a fair trial and now that the CBI will be doing further investigation, it will reach its closure. Talking about it, singer Devang Patel says, “This is a welcome decision from the Supreme Court and I am happy that we can now expect a fair investigation. But apart from that this is a wake up call for the entire film industry that has been repressing talent for a long time. And whenever CBI finishes its probe, I am sure a lot of things will unearth that will not be liked by everyone.”
Devang Patel also feels that even though nepotism is prevalent everywhere, it should not be misused. “The entire industry is shaken up by this case and I am sure that this will be beginning of a new order where people will refrain from saying that they belong to a filmy family or have a family name. The entire nepotism debate has taken a new direction here. I agree that nepotism exists everywhere, but it should not be misused to such an extent that someone loses his life. I feel that this case needs an unbiased investigation and that CBI will ensure it happens. I am happy that the apex court has given the right decision and I will be following the case closely.”
