Geeta Chauhan on celebrating Diwali: I don't believe in lighting crackers - Exclusive!

Diwali has already hit the globe.
Diwali has already hit the globe. Like always, celebrities have started posting pictures on their social media handle and are giving a glimpse of their celebrations. Diwali is known as a festival of lights, crackers, and delicacies. However one of the popular artists,

Geeta Chauhan

has a different way to celebrate it in a simpler yet fun way.

In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the

singer

reveals her celebration plans, "This year due to the pandemic, I haven't planned a huge Diwali party, but a small house party where my close ones can enjoy and jam together. Every year, my Diwali celebrations start with making sweets for my family and spending time with my loved ones. Also, I assist my daughter in making rangolis."

This Diwali like always Geeta has decided to go green and say no to crackers. "I don't believe in lighting crackers because it harms Mother Nature and animals, so instead, we light Diyas and lamps, sing together, and celebrate Diwali in a way that no one or animal is harmed," shares Geeta merrily.
