ETimes contacted Bhumik Shah and he tells, "'Vaishnav Jan To' speaks about the life, ideals, and mentality of a true human being, and this also reflects the philosophical thoughts of Shri Narsinh Mehta."
"Like every year this is the 4th year that we are recreating Narsinh Mehta’s Bhajans.
The sole purpose of recreating the Bhajan is to make sure that today’s younger generation can connect and carry forward our culture and heritage. We have recreated the songs with modern arrangements and kept the aesthetics intact to it. For the last four Janmashthamis, we have been recreating his bhajans, and this time I am collaborating with international musicians," he opines.
Furthermore, the singer adds to the conversation, "Each year there is a sense of achievement and contentment when the younger generation appreciates and like these bhajans it feels like a circle is completed. I would like to continue doing these bhajans for as long as I can."
"This video song has been shot in locations like Sabarmati Ashram, Dandi Bridge, Apang Manav Mandal, Vastrapur Lake, Prem Tara Bungalow - Nehrunagar, and Sharda Shantidham Vruddhashram Hathijan," the singer signs off.
