Social distancing has become a part of our friends meet: Aarohi Patel

The new normal has made us change many aspects of our lives and while we are slowly getting used to it we do miss our old routine. One of the many things that we missed was meeting our loved ones, and now as the unlocking progresses many are finally getting the chance to meet family and friends. Actress Aarohi Patel shares how she was happy to meet her friends after the

lockdown

ended and how they took care of all social distancing norms. “I have met my friends a couple of times since the lockdown ended. We ordered hot chocolate from a popular

cafe

here and through out our meeting we maintained proper social distancing norms. Whenever we have met, we either stay in our cars or met outside where we stood at a distance and spoke to each other. With the friends who don’t live in Ahmedabad, I spoke to them over video calls. Earlier we would speak every alternate day and now we speak over the weekends. The lockdown has made us all realise the importance of

video calls

and I’m glad that I have been able to stay in touch with my friends through that.”
