Adjusting to the new normal for all has been quite stressful for all during this quarantine period. While a quick trip to a salon and some much-needed TLC would be the best mood enhancer, one needs to be extra cautious even when going to a salon. Although, many salons across states have started their operations, one needs to be very very cautions. And while you wait for your appointment how about taking a cue from actress
Shrenu Parikh who has been using some easy and simple skin and hair care routine during the lockdown.
Talking about her skin & hair care routine the actress shares, "I have always preferred using all the naturally available ingredients in my kitchen. ‘I’m trying to use all natural ingredients that I can find in my kitchen, from tomato peels, orange juice, fruit pulp et al. I also often use the juice of grated potatoes as it helps in remove tanning. But my go-to homemade face mask is a mix of
besan (gram flour) a pinch of turmeric with either curd or lemon juice as it nourishes the skin and helps in de-tanning. For exfoliating the skin I use coarsely grinded red lentils and a bit of curd, massage it and rinse it.”
"As for my hair care routine is concerned, I prepare a hair mask at home using bananas and curd. I apply it on the hair, leave it for 45 minutes and then wash it with shampoo."
