The India Film Project is an event a lot of youngsters in the city look forward to, to participate as well as to watch some great ideas take shape on the screen. The contest kickstarted on the 12th September wherein the registered teams were given a theme and were also provided with 50 hours to make it and submit it online.
The theme this year was 'Progress has different meanings' and the film had to include one selfie. The registrations and submissions were all done online at a fee of Rs. 2000 and the results are to be declared on 19th September.
One of the participants, Jeet Patel said, "The theme this year was amazing, it got our creative juices flowing! With names like Shyam Benegal, Hansla Mehta and Umesh Shukla on the jury, you obviously tend to get inspired as well as a little intimidated too."
