The Gujarati film 'Laalo – Shri Krishna Sada Sahayate' is still running successfully in theatres. The film has already become a super hit and is breaking new earning records every week. Even after many days, people are still coming to theatres with the same love and emotion. Because of this strong response, the Laalo team is travelling to different cities for promotions and meeting audiences face to face.
During these promotions, the cast and crew are not only talking about the film but also sharing real-life stories from their journey and one among them is an interesting tea story.
A funny tea moment from tough days
As reported by Gujarati Jagran, at one promotional event, actor
Karan Joshi, who played Laalo, shared a funny memory from the past. He said that both he and director
Ankit Sakhiya were once in a situation where they didn’t even have Rs 45 to pay for tea. Karan explained that he loves drinking tea and once they stopped at a tea stall. The total bill came to around Rs 45.
When it was time to pay, Karan tried to scan the QR code using his phone. But the payment failed. When he checked his balance, there was only Rs 9.28 left in his account. He showed it to Ankit and both started laughing at their situation.
Laughter, trust, and a smile from the tea seller
Ankit then told Karan not to worry and said he would pay instead. But when Ankit tried, his account also did not have enough balance. Finally, they told the tea seller that they would come back and pay later. Everyone around them started laughing, and the tea seller also smiled and allowed them to leave.
Today, as Laalo enjoys huge success, this small story reminds us that every big journey starts with tough days. According to the latest reports, 'Laalo' has collected Rs 76 lakhs on day 66.
