Talking about this experience, an upbeat Varun shares, “It was a really memorable experience. So many people had turned up there, which made the atmosphere electric! I was a bit apprehensive about whether I will be able to fly kites or not, as I haven’t done that for a while. But the wind was good and it felt amazing when the kite went skywards. And Shraddha was a great support, as she helped me by holding the firki.” Shraddha, too, was elated about being a part of this festive atmosphere. She shares, “I have always been a keen observer when it comes to kite flying. I have a lot of Gujarati friends; we often get together and sometimes even fly kites. But I enjoy seeing others fly them. But today, I tried my hands at it. Once Varun got the kite up, I held the manjha. It’s tough to fly kites, but it’s a lot of fun.”
