Tatsat Munshi is on cloud nine as he awaits the release of his debut Gujarati film. For the actor, who has worked in a few OTT projects in the past, the moment – to finally see himself on the silver screen – has come after a long, arduous wait due to the pandemic.
In the past year, the wily virus ensured his projects got delayed, including the much-awaited big screen debut. “A lot of my projects were delayed due to the pandemic. It was a real test of my patience. And then, I lost my
dadi and
nani, who used to live with us, so it was quite a difficult year. I am hopeful that I get new and better projects in the coming year. I have plans to take up specific projects, but would want to be part of projects with good directors and scripts which interest me,” reveals Tatsat.
On the personal front, ask him if he is planning to settle down and Tatsat replies, “I just want to focus on my professional life and not think about settling down for now. I am awaiting the release of my debut film and would like to concentrate on the same.”
For the New Year, Tatsat plans to have a good time with his parents and extended family. “I have tried to spend the festive week with my family as much as possible this time since we couldn’t get together in the past two years. I want to indulge in a lot of lip-smacking fare, watch many classics with my extended family, go visit the temple and burst a lot of firecrackers on the New Year.”
