Dhwani Gautam, a Gujarati ace filmmaker, has created quite a buzz on social media with the announcement of his new romantic ballad '
Pardesiya
'. Dhwani has once again reunited with the team of his superhit track 'Valamiya 2.0'. The director and his team recently completed the shoot of the song at Dwarka with the star cast
Anshul Trivedi and
Priya Bhattacharya
. Well! This time the song has a twist with its genre. In an exclusive interview with
ETimes
, the lead actors revealed details about the song and much more.
You are going to debut opposite Anshul Trivedi in an upcoming song by Dhwani Gautam, describe your feelings?
Priya Bhattacharya: I am happy that I am working with these two wonderful people, this will be a learning experience for me. Anshul is a fantastic actor and Dhwani has an amazing canvas as a director. I am also honored to have
Geetaben Rabari
to be on this project, she is an amazing and pure soul. This journey will teach me not only the acting side but also as a member of the team, their humble nature, and their vision will make this venture a life experience.
Tell us something about your upcoming song with Dhwani Gautam
Anshul Trivedi: After the massive success of 'Valamiya 2.0', I am collaborating with Dhwani for the second time for ‘Pardesiya’. The team is the same and we intend to recreate, rather than break our previous records with ‘Pardesiya’. It’s a beautiful song created by Rahul Munjariya and sung by our very own Geetaben Rabari. This song will make you fall in love with everything about it. That's all I have to say for now and to know more wait for the first teaser. Dhwani is changing the way people perceive Gujarati songs. I am glad that I am a part of this change and get to be the face of the same. I don’t want to jinx our bond by talking more about it but, I just wish and pray that we get more and more opportunities to work and grow together. I have immense respect for him, also we do have our two feature films, 'Kesariya' and 'Love Atrangi' lined up. Hope we keep creating new benchmarks and get to entertain audiences like never before.
