, who wowed masses with his acting abilities, left for his heavenly abode yesterday evening(October 3) after a long battle with cancer. The unfortunate news of his death certainly has sent shockwaves in the entertainment industry. The 77-year-old artist was famous not only in Bollywood but also in Gujarati cinema for his comic roles. Many celebs paid heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Take a look

"An artist lives his life in the theater. In the true sense, Kalkaar, Ghanashyam dada lived his life like a theatre. He made thousands of people laugh in his presence and now his absence has left every one of us with tears. I am yet to come to terms with this news. He will stay in our hearts forever," expresses Maulik Nayak.

Niilam Paanchal

shared the photo of the late veteran actor to her Instagram story and expressing her sadness.

Versatile actor Mehul Buch posted Ghanshyam Nayak's picture to his Instagram handle and wrote, "yak (Natukaka) is no more. Big loss to theatre and television .....Ghanashyambhai we will miss you....always".


Pratik Gandhi shares, "I am deeply saddened by the news. Ghanashyamji Nayak will stay forever in our hearts. He was such a gem of a person and a very passionate actor. I feel fortunate to have got to share a small screen space with him in my Gujarati film 'Love Ni Bhavai'. May his soul rest in peace. Very few mark the place in the busy fast world. But he will always be celebrated in this world through his work."

Ghanashyam Nayak starred in the Gujarati film 'Love Ni Bhavai, remembering the departed soul, the film's director, Sandeep Patel, shared a throwback photo on his Instagram with a message, "Ghanshyam Naik, Kaka we will miss you forever, you will be remembered."
