Parth Oza on Uttarayan: I miss celebrating the festival with my family and friends

is celebrated across the nation. Many of them spend time on their terraces with the colorful kites, groovy music, sweets, etc. When it comes to Uttarayan, Gujarat is the state where the festival is celebrated with enormous passion and excitement. Today, in an exclusive interview with ETimes, actor-singer Parth Oza opens up about his Uttarayan celebrations and much more.

The star reminisces his old days of celebrating the festival, he shares, "Uttarayan is a festival that I really love. I celebrate it with my family and friends but these days amidst the pandemic, no such big celebration is happening at my place. I miss celebrating it with my friends and the times when my friends use to come specially from abroad to Ahmedabad just to celebrate kite flying."

Furthermore, he adds, "I also love pol ni Uttarayan. The colorful sky filled with so many different kinds of kites and the ambiance, vibes in the old city, are just so different and vibrant. I love the food as well, wherein we get to eat bor, chikki, and jamfal."

Due to the rising in cases of the deadly virus, the

actor

says, "It's my mother's birthday on the 14th and so usually we have double celebrations on the terrace but with the current situation, the celebrations will be a little low, I hope everyone have a safe Uttarayan."
