Director
Pan Nalin 'Chhello Show' has received huge accolades overseas. Since it was announced as India's official entry to the
Oscars, the film has been making the right noise.
Following widespread acclaim, the film has been selected for the main competition at the 2022 Red Sea International Film Festival in
Saudi Arabia. We contacted Pan Nalin and he shared, "It’s indeed an honor that the Arab world will discover 'Last Film Show' and I am so much looking forward to the Red Sea.
This blossoming young film festival proposes three vibrant themes close to my heart, i.e. Film is an Opportunity, Film is Art, and Film is Achievement. "
He further added, " Saudi Arabia is on the way to becoming a major film production hub. I also have a story set in the desert, so for me, this is also an opportunity to explore possible co-productions besides celebrating cinema with 'Last Film Show' at the Red Sea Film Festival."
Moreover, The film will compete with the best of Arab, Asian, and African cinema at the second edition of the festival, which will take place from December 1 to December 10 in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
