More women-centric films are being written in Dhollywood: Malhar Thakar
Dhollywood
is changing and how. In recent times, films likeSharato Lagu
andLove Ni Bhavai
have brought strong female characters to the screen. And the success of such films have made the fact clear that the audience is ready to accept different films and that male oriented perception of the industry is changing.Talking about the changing dynamics, Malhar Thakar says, "In the past, films that have worked have mostly been the ones where hero was the central character. But that is changing. Now more women centric films are being written. Currently, male actors enjoy bigger stardom as compared to their female counterparts. But in the coming years, these things are set to change for good."
