' is still a newsmaker and without missing out on the buzz, on Malhar's birthday - Viral Shah made the announcement of their third film together. Tentatively titled 'Aaj Na Samachar' -- this film will revolve around news channels, news room and how the news affects audience. Here's the excerpt from a chat with Viral and Malhar:
Share with us about the excitement of coming together to work for the third time...
Viral: The funny part is, this film was never planned, unlike the previous two. We were randomly chatting about how news channels are gaining more TRPs these days than anything else, and the idea was born. There was a pause moment and both of us together said - "third film???"
Malhar: This is an exciting project because we both are almost clear with its storyline. We both are planning to co-produce it, if possible. After Neeraj Joshi, Viral is the only director with whom I will collaborate for third film!

We want to know how is this film different from your previous two films together
Malhar: No film on this set up has been done in Dhollywood, so it will be a totally different experience. Somewhere this entire structure based around newsroom and news channel will be a huge high for filming it.
Viral: My first film with Malhar was a fake biopic, second was a romance comedy drama, third is completely different. I guess this genre hasn’t happened in

Gujarati cinema

so far.


When are you planning to start shoot of this film and how will the filming technicalities change due to pandemic.Malhar: We are waiting for Viral to finish the scripting. We might have to wait till year end for starting the shoot. Due to pandemic, we have to wait and watch for everything. I am expecting a 25-27 days' schedule for this one.
Viral: As of now writing is under process. Will only plan once the writing is over. But I m sure, will not begin until situation is better. Filming needs man power, needs time and needs space. Won’t compromise on it
