Kartavya Shah's 'Dhummas' to be remade in South - Exclusive!

The thriller film 'Dhummas,' directed by Kartavya Shah, is garnering a positive reaction from across the nation. Not just in Dhollywood, but the film has grabbed the hearts of South Indian filmmakers as well, so much so that a popular production house from the South is willing to remake the film in a South language.
When contacted, an elated director Kartavya Shah confirms, "The audience reviews are impeccable and so overwhelming and it has reached outright to the audience.And one of our biggest achievements is, within fifteen days after releasing 'Dhummas' the people in the south loved it so much so that one decent production house from Chennai has decided to remake 'Dhummas,"
"'Dhummas' has been a remarkable journey for us. The journey had many ups and downs but at the end, all the hard work of the team pays off. The journey was full of gratitude, and when you talk about gratitude one can’t forget Bhargav Trivedi, the writer of the movie. He was the first person who conceived the subject and developed it with utmost care and love. He articulated his thoughts and his imagination on paper in a true sense. We are thankful to him," he adds.
"From my experience, I can say that both the production houses have an 'eye for the talent', they are keen to promote new talent and new subjects. Further, I would like to thank Kinjal Rajpriya and Jayesh More, the impeccable actors of the industry who said yes to the script without any hesitation and had complete trust in us. Whenever I talk about the journey it is more the journey of daredevils because it was a crucial time while filming also. The COVID was at the pinnacle stage but the team and production house didn’t juggle and bewilder we filmed the movie with the utmost safety. There were many Gujarati films but 'Dhummas' was the first Gujarati movie after the lockdown was released on OTT," sums up the conversation.
